The Village Hall is located in the heart of Hellifield village, occupying a key position on the A65 Trunk Road between Skipton (9 miles) and Settle (7 miles).
The building was 150 years old in 2014.
There are two rooms available to Hire:
The Main Hall and the smaller Yorke Room
- There is also a fully fitted modern kitchen
- There is a large free public car park at the rear of the building, with access via Gisburn Road (behind the Black Horse and Aherne’s)

Upcoming Events
Toilet Renovation Project
We are pleased to announce that the renovation of our toilets begins on Monday 19th January 2026. This means the building will be closed from that date for three to four weeks, but we can look forward to much needed improvement to our existing toilet facilities which will enable accessible and inclusive facilities for all users. This has been possible due to a generous grant from York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority through the Government's UK Shared Prosperity Fund, which will cover 80% of the planned cost. The rest of the funding has been acquired from many fund raising activities, generous donations from villagers and also N.Y.C. Councillor Simon Myers from his Locality Budget.
David Green - Saturday 26th April 2026
David is a singer/songwriter of acoustic blues and rock. He will be performing on Saturday 26th April 2026 at 8.00 pm (doors open at 7.30 pm). There is nothing more enjoyable than listening to live music along with friends and family, so why not come along and have a great night out.
