Now that the government has laid out its roadmap for the country coming out of lockdown, the Trustees of Hellifield Village Hall have agreed a re-opening plan as follows: -
6th May - The village hall will be used as a polling station for the local elections, with full covid-related safety precautions in place.
17th May onwards - Indoor sporting activities, i.e. table tennis, badminton and roll mat bowls, will re-start, operating within the safety guidelines set out by the sports' governing bodies.
21st June onwards - All other activities will recommence. This includes coffee mornings, entertainment events, meetings and private parties and will be subject to any restrictions such as social distancing rules. As a safety precaution, we do ask all users and coffee morning organisatins, to bring their own refreshment ingredients until further notice.
The village hall committee is keen to encourage users back into the hall and generous room reductions are in place.
