Hellifield Village Hall

The Village Hall is located in the heart of Hellifield village, occupying a key position on the A65 Trunk Road between Skipton (9 miles) and Settle (7 miles).

There are two rooms available to Hire:

The Main Hall and the smaller Yorke Room

  • There is also a fully fitted modern kitchen
  • There is a large free public car park at the rear of the building, with access via Gisburn Road (behind the Black Horse and Aherne’s)

Bram Taylor - Friday 22 March 2019

The next event at the Village Hall is a return by popular demand of Bram Taylor.  Bram's genre is folk music and he has a fine rich voice, but with an entertaining sense of humour.  He performs a selection of both traditional and contemporary material on guitar, duet concertina and baritone ukulele.  This is taking place on Friday 22 March at 8.00 pm.  Doors will open at 7.30 pm.  This will be a 'bring your own' nibbles and refreshments' event.  Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of March and will be £8.00.  However, you can reserve a ticket by contacting Karen Dunwoodie on Tel: 01729 851070 or by using the event booking form below.

History of Art and Architecture Lecture - 29 March 2019

Jenny Birch is returning once more to continue her series of lectures.  Her next one will take place on Friday 29th March 2019 commencing at 7.00 pm in the Yorke Room titled 'A tale of two Germanys" covering interwar modernism followed by artistic repression under the Nazis.  Tickets are £3.00 on the door and there is a free glass of wine/juice.  For more information, contact Jenny on Tel:  850385 or email: jenny464@btinternet.com 


Hellifield Beer Festival - 14th and 15th June 2019

The 7th Hellifield Beer Festival will be held on 14th and 15th June 2019, showcasing over 45 beers and ciders.  Watch this space for more information.

Coffee Mornings are held on most Saturday mornings from 10am to 11.30am, usually helping to raise funds for local charitable causes.  Contact Sheila Swinbank on 01729 850458 if you wish to book a coffee morning during 2019.  There are not many slots left. The next planned coffee mornings are being run as follows:

  • February 16th - St. Aidan's Church
  • February 23rd - Pet Rescue
  • March 2nd - The Institute
  • March 9th - St. Aidan's Church
  • March 16th - Mothers' Union
